Oncology

Clare Knottenbelt BVSC MSC DSAM MRCVS, RCVS Recognised specialist in Small Animal Medicine provides oncology referral services at Broadleys veterinary hospital.

Clare worked as a clinician at the University of Glasgow from 2000 and was awarded a Professorship in Small Animal Medicine and Oncology in 2010.

She was Clinical Director of the University of Glasgow’s Small Animal Hospital for 6 years and worked within the University’s Oncology service for 11 years before leaving to establish Hawk and Dove.

Following a diagnosis of cancer in your pet, your vet can arrange a consultation with Clare. As well as being an expert in her field, Clare is compassionate and kind.

She will discuss all possible care options so that together you can create the most appropriate individual care plan for your pet.

Consultation options
Face to face consultations are offered at Broadleys Veterinary Hospital

Online video consultations are also available enabling owners to discuss their pet’s treatment from the comfort of their own home.
This option means owners and pets don’t need to travel long distances to seek expert advice but is not suitable for patients with severe clinical symptoms.
Online consultations need to be supported by a full clinical examination performed by your own vet prior to the consultation.
